The New SCT RTK-USB3 Brings a Simpler, Smarter Way to Connect Any Laptop at the Conference Table

A companion solution featuring three full-function USB-C inputs, HDMI^® support, built-in switching, and integrated laptop power delivery

NORWALK, Conn., May 14, 2026 – Sound Control Technologies (SCT) today announced the RTK-USB3, a conference room table extension solution that brings USB-C laptop connectivity with power delivery, HDMI^® support, and integrated video switching to BYOD and BYOM meeting environments.

At the table, RTK-USB3 provides three full-function USB-C inputs and one HDMI^® input, creating an integrated 4×1 switching system designed for flexible laptop connectivity. Each USB-C port supports USB data, end-to-end DisplayPort Alternate Mode video, and laptop charging up to 100W, enabling a single-cable connection for most current devices.

RTK-USB3 is designed as an companion solution that integrates into both SCT and third-party environments. It is compatible with SCT tabletop and extension platforms including RTK-MINI, RTK-PLUS, RTK-PRO, and RTK-AM1, making it suitable for both new deployments and room upgrades.

It supports USB 3.2 extension between table and receiver for high-performance peripheral connectivity. It also offers configurable power delivery, supporting up to 60W per USB-C port in fixed mode and up to 100W dynamic charging for a primary device, with a total system budget of up to 180W.

Control options include RS-232and codec integration (codec dependent), with auto-switching modes such as Last Source Detect and Priority Mode for flexible room operation.

RTK-USB3 is designed to streamline tabletop connectivity, allowing users to connect, power, and present from a wide range of laptops with minimal setup.
